TapVOD 소개
A film you turn the pages of. One tap, one shot.
What this is
TapVOD sits between comics and film. A chapter is a run of full-screen frames and every tap moves you forward one — no timeline, no progress bar, and nothing pushing you along.
You hold the speed; the author holds the rhythm. Fast, slow, stopped, whenever you like — that part is yours. How closely the frames fall around a moment, which beat is held a little longer — that part is the author's. That division is the product.
What it is not
- Not a scrolling comic — there is no long strip. Every frame is its own full page.
- Not video — no timeline, no scrub bar, no clock forcing you on.
- Not interactive fiction — no branches, no choices.
What we promise you
- Your finger is the only clock. Nothing here advances on its own.
- You cannot see how much is left. Progress is a page number, never a bar that looks draggable.
- Nothing interrupts you. No pop-ups, no ads, nothing sold to you mid-read, and no interstitial between chapters.
- Words stay legible. The picture may shake; the subtitle does not.
- Play starts at the beginning. A work opens on frame one, a chapter on its own first frame. Where you stopped is what "continue" is for.
How to read one is on the how to read page.
Where this is up to
The site is still being built. Every picture you see is a placeholder, not final art, and the works are samples that exist to make the reading experience real enough to argue with. The reading is genuine — which is the reason it is out here at all.
There are no accounts and there will not be. Your watchlist, your history and your settings live on this device; no server knows them, and another device starts a fresh set.
Ratings
Every work carries a film-style rating. The restrictive ones are stamped on the cover before you open anything, not after — that is a policy, not a badge on one work.
