TapVOD has no accounts and no server that remembers you. The whole site is a set of static files, and everything you do on it stays in your own browser. This page says what is actually stored and where.

What this device keeps

The following is held in your browser's localStorage, under the prefix tapvod:. None of it is uploaded, and none of it syncs to your other devices on its own:

• reading progress — which chapter and frame, per work;
• your watchlist;
• preferences — theme, subtitle size, the sound switch, language.

Clearing your browser data removes all of it, and we hold no copy. You can also clear it directly from You.

Moving to another device

Export a bookmark file from You and import it on the other device. This is file transfer, not sync: you hold the file and you move it, and it never passes through us. Import is a full overwrite, not a merge.

What the site does not do

• no accounts, no sign-up, and it never asks for your name or email;
• no advertising and no ad trackers;
• no third-party analytics;
• no cross-site tracking cookies.

Hosting and technical requests

The site is delivered through Cloudflare. That infrastructure may process IP address, request time, User-Agent and request details in order to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse. This happens for any website delivery; we cannot switch it off, and we do not collect or retain anything from it separately.

Changes

This site is in development. If something is added that sends data off your device, this page changes in the same commit and the date above changes with it.
